Small Groups

Here at Hope, we are BIG on small groups!
We passionately believe in the value of small groups to facilitate growth in our Christian walk, as well as deep and lasting friendships within the body of Christ.
The second piece of our mission statement is, "community with other believers", and we want to help make that happen!

Below you'll find some examples of small groups that currently meet. If you don't see a specific group you're looking for, or you'd like to start one, please reach out to Pastor Kelly.
Women's Book Club
Women's Book Club meets the 4th Wednesday of each month, location varies.

Christian Classics Book Club

Meets monthly on the 2nd Monday on Zoom.  Discussion will center around a different classic every month.  Attendees will want to have read the selection and be prepared to discuss what you liked/disliked, agreed with/disagreed with etc.  contact Pastor Carlyn @ 507-327-4341.  
December Book: "The Hiding Place" by Corrie Ten Boom.
January Book:  "The Normal Christian Life" by Watchman Nee.
February Book:  "The Interior Castle" by Teresa of Avilia.
Thinking Theologically 
Thursday Night Small Group
Meets monthly on the 3rd Tuesday (October only will be 2nd Tuesday)  at our Starbuck location . This group is an opportunity to read and answer theological questions with the goal of being better equipped to think theologically.

Women's SOAP Study

Meeting time varies, but usually once a week on a
week day morning in Glenwood.  Women learn the SOAP (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer) method of studying the Bible.  Study is done at home and women meet to share how God spoke to them through His Word.  Contact Mary (320) 424-0279.
